Review

You can rely on any production by the Little Angel Theatre being excellent! The three stories about a bear, fish and turtles with the recurrent theme of hats are brought to life! These are all based on the books by Jon Klassen. The show was fun and interactive. We loved the puppets, the different perspectives with different sized puppets of the same characters, fantastic lighting and music. It is all so well curated and it was enjoyable for all ages! I took my 3 (nearly 4) year old and my 21 month old. The youngest was fine throughout except the last 5 minutes he wanted to run around! We would definitely recommend as a fabulous easter treat.

Fish Puppet Tutorial

I WISH we had seen this before as we definitely would have done it!…There is the below YouTube tutorial on how to make a fish puppet to take with you and you can use it to participate in the show. Although don’t worry if you don’t do this, you can make a fish with your hand! 🐟

Tips

⭐️ I would recommend buying tickets in the central area seating of the Tobacco Factory Theatre. Some of the puppets peep out of the booth on the stage, which is better viewed straight on in my opinion.

🍦☕️ The Theatre bar has ice cream and coffee for afterwards! Also the Tobacco Factory Cafe downstairs has great food and very family friendly.

🚗 We parked on North Street outside St Francis Church – which is in the 3 hour parking group. The Ringgo app is handy throughout Bristol for parking.

Thank you Tobacco Factory Theatre!
