Beautiful Bluebell Woods & Walks near Bristol

Bluebell season is one of the prettiest times of the year in and around Bristol. Bluebells are usually blooming from mid-April to early May, but this can vary. They are a little earlier this year! Many of these beautiful bluebell woods and walks are already in bloom as I’m posting this. Here are my top picks for the best bluebell woods and walks Bristol & surrounding areas have to offer!

Where to see Bluebells:

💙 Prior’s Wood, Portbury – Probably the most well known destination for bluebells in the area! Blooming as of 10/04/26

💙 Ashton Court – In the woods west of the International Balloon Fiesta flight field. Head for where it says Hanske’s Haven on Google Maps. Blooming as of 10/04/26. Cafe at the Mansion House! Church Lodge Car Park is closer, but park at Mansion House car park if you want cafe and toilets at the start and end of your walk.

💙 Cam Peak (near Cam & Dursley) – This looks absolutely stunning! Why not combine with a visit to Leaf & Ground?

💙 Felton Common – Out on the common and this is also great for plane spotting!

💙 Goblin Coombe, Cleeve

💙 Leigh Woods

💙 Stoke Park Woods

💙 Greyfield Wood, High Littleton
