Construction at Hengrove Park starts this month for a new water play area! 🚧 From Monday 8th September, the park will only be open on weekends for 12 weeks. Please note there will be limited to no access to the toddler area during this time. This suggests a completion date in this December.
This project is led by Bristol City Council and is being constructed by Ustigate Waterplay. This team are behind a number of water play installations around the UK which look great!
The new water play will be located in the old rocky water play area. Some of the sand will be removed to install a water play facility that will be inclusive and accessible for all ages and abilities. 🙌 It is also being constructed in a way that additional above ground features could be added later!
