All Aboard The SS Great Britain!
We were invited to explore Brunel’s magnificent ship – The SS Great Britain, it’s two museums and dockyards. I have visited before, but it was our first time with our little ones. There was a lot for them to explore and the kids enjoyed the Easter holiday activities (see below!) My two are a bit little to learn much of the history, but our 3 year old Ada was interested in seeing different parts of the ship and the interactive parts of the museum. It is worth mentioning the figures of people below deck were a bit scary for Ada! Overall I would say it is great for families and there is something to interest all ages.
Easter Holiday Activites
- Taste Victorian Puddings during the Easter holidays 1-16 April at 12-2PM in the first class saloon! (Free with your entry) There is plum pudding and citrus jelly. These are the puddings that were served on the ships voyages!
- Easter animal trail with chocolate treat at the end. Ada enjoyed this one, especially with the incentive of chocolate!
